Accessibility Statement
Version 1.0 — effective 16 October 2026
Noticed Sites (noticedsites.com) is operated by Noticed Sites. We want everyone to be able to browse, score and submit websites, whatever their abilities or technology.
1. Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice, that means:
- every function works with a keyboard, including the scoring dials (arrow keys, Shift + arrows and number keys), the ranked-pick round tray, collections reordering and the lightbox
- the site works with screen readers: semantic HTML, labelled controls, and live announcements for scores and status messages
- text and controls meet colour-contrast requirements in both light and dark themes, and colour is never the only way information is shown
- motion respects reduced-motion settings, and the "Reduce effects" setting turns off WebGL and animation
- every image of a submitted website has alt text, which is required at submission
- touch targets are at least 24 × 24 px (44 px in the scoring panel)
- text can be zoomed to 400% without loss of content
- badges, certificates and emails are designed to be accessible too
2. Known limitations
- Some submitted websites we link to are made by third parties and may not be accessible. We show Google Lighthouse accessibility scores for each site to help.
- Decorative 3D (WebGL) effects can't be described in detail. They carry no essential information, and an equivalent static version is always available.
3. How we test
- automated checks (axe) in every release
- Lighthouse accessibility scores of 90+ on our key pages
- manual keyboard and screen-reader testing (VoiceOver, NVDA) before launch and every 6 months
4. Feedback and contact
If you find something that doesn't work for you, or you need information in another format, email support@noticedsites.com or write to Noticed Sites, Pepys Court, Prestwood, Buckinghamshire, HP16 0QP, UK. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS): equalityadvisoryservice.com.
5. Preparation of this statement
